Both work; the right choice depends on your case and your lifestyle. Aligners are discreet and removable and suit many adults and older teens, while braces handle even complex cases with precision. We recommend the best option for you at your consultation, and the choice is always yours.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Most treatments take roughly six to eighteen months, depending on how much movement is needed. We give you a realistic estimate at the start, and for clear aligners much of the journey can be monitored remotely around your travel and life.

Am I too old for braces or aligners?
Not at all. Teeth can be moved at almost any age, and more adults than ever are straightening their teeth, often discreetly with clear aligners. Healthy teeth and gums matter more than age.

Will treatment be painful?
Orthodontics is comfortable for most people. You may feel mild pressure or tenderness for a day or two after braces are adjusted or a new aligner is started (a sign the teeth are moving), which settles quickly and is easily managed.
